      <text xml:space="preserve">This is the SBGN wiki,  a &lt;big&gt;community-editable area&lt;/big&gt; where members of the SBGN community can write about SBGN topics and proposals for SBGN's continued evolution. This wiki is more suitable for writing longer and more static documents, whereas the [[SBGN Mailing Lists]] are more suitable to rapid dialogue between people.

SBGN is under continuing development. However, some pieces of it are mature enough so there are some university courses devoted exclusively or partially to SBGN. SBGN is largely developed through meetings. We sometimes are careful enough to record [[meeting minutes]]. See also the pages describing the various [[events]].

SBGN is a community effort, and its development is coordinated by editors ho are democratically elected each years. You can find more [[About#SBGN_Editors | information on current editors and their duties]]. We also record the [[elections|results of past elections]].
