Android TV box is a tragedy, ihave once, but i need put into my trash bag, almost everyday app updates, realay hard customize because almost have all closed system etc. Android maybe good for phones, but not for mediaplayer. However i dont understand your style - your library works well, just need lower the esp32 board driver to 2.0.2.

... esp32 can't beat rj45 cabled internet connections..just need to add internet-radio.com 320bps playlist into VLC player..connect Android box stereo to hifi turn off the tv..let it play all day ..
