O XML SciELO possui vários tipos de datas em <history>, para gerar o XML do PubMed só pode ser considerado as datas: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK3828/#publisherhelp.How_do_I_use_the__History

Anexo arquivo que gerou com data do tipo preprint: <PubDate PubStatus="preprint">

Para os casos de datas que o PubMed não comporta, elas não devem ser geradas no XML do Pubmed.
