The project that currently is using the https://coffea.readthedocs.io/ domain is abandoned (https://github.com/caffeinery/coffea) and so ReadTheDocs allows for people to file for domain ownership of abandoned projects: https://docs.readthedocs.io/en/stable/abandoned-projects.html

The actions that @lgray and @nsmith- should take to make a claim are covered in the "Reporting an abandoned project" section of the docs.

I have, finally, started the ticket with RTD. It should be a pretty cut and dried case. Will update as it progresses.
