Could NOT find METIS (missing: parallel) on Ubuntu 22

Hello,

i need parmetis with mumps. I compiled parmetis 4.0.3, it stays in ~/LIBRARY_PARA/LIBRARIES/parmetis-4.0.3/:

$ ls -l ~/LIBRARY_PARA/LIBRARIES/parmetis-4.0.3/
total 12
drwxrwxr-x 2 me me 4096 sept. 19 15:13 bin

but i got this error:

and if i copy your FindMETIS.cmake into /home/me/APPS/cmake-3.27.5/share/cmake-3.27/Modules, the error is now:

OK try that option with a new build directory (delete old)

e.g. from ./mumps directory
