I'm currently working on my MSc with this library, and i've recently encounter some problems. One being that the initial values from the odometry provided from the library are huge numbers (like you can see on the attached image "main odom2.png" ). Note that the robot is standing still every time that i check the initial odometry values.
The other being the error "checksum mismatch" when connecting via usb with the segway platform. I can still acess it's topic and publish to cmd_vel but i don't know if it affects the normal/expected behavior.
Does anyone know what is happening?
