SEO options for nextra-theme-blog

I'm really to see Nextra has upgraded to 2.0! And I really love the blog theme.

I have read the docs for the doc theme and tried it out. But it turned out that the SEO functions are still missing?
I cannot import config like the docs theme with import { useConfig } from "nextra-theme-blog", seemed like it's still not available for the blog theme?

I also tried directly by using next-seo in the theme.config.tsx and it also doesn't work...I'm new to Nextjs so I'm probably missing something.

Anyway, I ended up in writing everything directly🥲

May I ask how should I deal with the SEO options properly here, and will there be further improvements for the blog theme, especially the SEO functions?
