idk, im using broo a lot but i cant make it plug and play with easyeffects source :(
pls if you can make a workaround i'll be very grateful with you and the gods of wireless audio
(there was a previous issue buut it was more focused in obs, in this case the priority is linking broo to easyeffects mic source)

I'm busy for some weeks, so will see later.

But as a workaround, maybe try applying effects on the Mumble output source itself.

Did you try it?

Did you try it?

yes, since "Playback" and "loopback-####" output is connecting to EF Sink, i disconnect it and connect just Playback sink to Broo input, then connect Broo output to the first mic effect

What I meant was: In EasyEffects, I can see an entry for loopback in the Output tab. Can you try that out? You won't need to do custom remapping that way, if it works.

Ignore the above. I finally tried out EasyEffects (I had never used it before).

It just works™ for me. EasyEffects also updated for me, so you might want to do that too.

I don't see what problem you have, except possibly getting your own sound back or a bypass due to a problem (that may be the reason for your problem).

For that, one thing you have to do is to exclude the loopback in the Output tab (shown in the previous reply).

Easyeffects messes up the connection of virtual device (See wwmm/easyeffects#1237 (comment)), so after launching and excluding, you need to move the output of Mumble to Broo again. That may be the reason for your problem. You can use pavucontrol for it and use the dropdown menu as below:

After that you can just use it on your programs (enable all applications in the Input tab, seems to be default) and it just works™.

Here is how Helvum looks, after using the delay effect (of 1 second) in EasyEffects, and using https://webcammictest.com/check-mic.html on Firefox to test the mic:

TL;DR: The problem maybe potentially happening because output of Mumble was moved due to EasyEffects. Bring it back to Broo using pavucontrol, and enjoy! :)

I don't see what problem you have, except possibly

Bad sentence framing, that seems to be definitely the problem based on your earlier reply.

Sorry for not trying to use EasyEffects earlier and the subsequent delay.
