Reverse alias and original address management in headers

In the SaaS version there is a nice way to handle the reverse alias: it is set in the "Reply-to" header so that replies are correctly forwarded to it, while in the "From" field the original sender address is shown. In the self hosted version the "From" field contains the reverse alias instead and I have not found any setting that can reproduce the situation that I see by default in the SaaS version. Is there a way to do it? Is there an external tool that does it?
