on drop table event is not getting triggered

1. We are trying to integrate Iceberg tables However it seems that create table or alter table events are getting triggered but "drop table event" is not getting triggered from HMS. Please suggest.

2. Not an issue but was just Curious to understand why "alter table event" is triggered twice even for single change in iceberg table.
