list() will create an array of object references, but should it?

  name: "John"
}

const people = list(0, 3, obj);

people[0].name = "Matt";
// All objects names are updated to Matt even though only index 0 was mutated.

You can "fix" this by changing the signature to:

const people = list(0, 3, () => obj);

I can't think of any real-world example of when you would want an array of object references.

Should list be changed to create a new object reference for each item in the list?
