Hi I'm Lauriethefish, an open source developer who's behind several projects important to the Beat Saber Quest modding community, including ModsBeforeFriday and QuestPatcher.

My Projects

ModsBeforeFriday is currently the main tool used to install mods on the Quest version of Beat Saber. Its main focus is ease-of-use, allowing a new modder to get a modded copy of the game working within minutes of opening up the site.

QuestPatcher is a Windows, Mac and Linux application that can be used to install a modloader on any il2cpp unity app for Oculus Quest (1, 2, 3) headsets. It has an easy-to-use GUI, but since it is general purpose, additional steps are required when you use it to mod Beat Saber. For this reason, it's maintained for use by mod developers, providing a convenient way to test their mod packages (.qmod files) before releasing their mods.
