Hello! 👋

My name is Ana, I'm a software engineer passionate about open source and civic innovation.

Born Brazilian but a world citizen - currently, based in Berlin. I hold an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) but I must confess that I see myself as a master of none. There are still so many things to learn!

Currently, I'm one of Model Bakery and pytest-picked maintainers and also the founder of Dados Abertos de Feira, an initiative to make data from my hometown (Feira de Santana, BA, Brazil) open and available to its citizens. I've been doing a lot of Python but open to other programming languages. Golang is the next in line.

Apart from the open-source work, I also like to share what I've been learning on my blog. Often you can find me mentoring other women or creating the next awesome side project.
