About Corey

I'm passionate about tooling that pushes DX (Developer Experience) to new heights. DX is a common theme in my open-source work.

I wrote NVM for Windows, which was pivotal to the adoption of Node.js by Windows users. node-windows/mac/linux introduced a new way to operate Node.js natively, powering millions of enterprise applications. Fenix Web Server helps hundreds of thousands of people learn about and use the web, by simplifying the infrastructure requirements to start writing code.

When you sponsor me, you're not just sponsoring a developer. I'm actively involved in global development communities like the OpenJS Foundation, Node Version Management working group, the Quora tech community, and local communities like Bleeding Edge Web (which I co-founded with Brian Moeskau).

Thank you for your support.

@coreybutler

I'll be able to hire part-time help to dedicate to OSS projects and the communities I've cultivated. I no longer have enough time to single-handedly support the millions of developers using the projects I've created.
