Work

I'm currently working on a couple of projects, but the most important is one called: "Ilse Langnar's Notebook" 💯 .

What

It's an all-in-one tool : A browser, note-taking tool, Zettelkasten, CRM, Spaced Repetition Tool, Study Tool, Brain Dump, Second Brain, External Brain ... you got the idea.

I want to make a tool to follow Bret Victor's 🥇 idea of a dance between "art and artist" but also the potential of the computing medium put by Alan Kay🥇 (dinamic land).

I also took inspirations from Douglas Engelbart 🥇 (mouser inventor).

So a browser that can be customized with plain HTML, CSS and Javascript, with a marketplace of plugins, extensions, themes and other amenities. The different between user and developer will collapse because editing your own software is so easy.

Study

Ilse has a "special" algorithm for Spaced Repetition, so different from "SuperMemo" we don't have daily minimums, we also have moods, so if you're in the mood to study japanese, you can select only to get the japanese flashcards where you have a weak memory of.

Why it's important?

Sponsorship is important because if have enough money from sponsorship I'll quit my job and become a 100% contributor. That will mean a better tool, faster response, better, more *composable features(, and a more stable API for plugins.
