This instruction will guide you through a assembly process.
All references and part types can be found in BOM (Bill Off Materials)
- Jumpers have to be soldered first according to chosen configuration:
- IO1-IO3 - Let you choose D2 output, GPIO1 or GPIO3 (Feature added in shield v2.1);
- IO15 (ESP32 only)- Let you choose if your output 15 is shifted or not (soldered left not shifted);
- IO15-1 (ESP32 only) - Must be soldered if output 15 is shifted;
- IO14 (ESP32 only) - Let you choose if your output 14 is shifted or not (soldered right not shifted);
- IO14-1 (ESP32 only) - Must be soldered if output 14 is shifted;
- J-R2 - If soldered bypassing resistor R2;
- J-R1 - Soldered if resistor R1 must be used;
- First solder components with low profile.
- Level shifter (LV1)
- Check correct orientation (notch of the level shifter must be alined with silk screen on board)
- Solder resistors R3
- Diodes D1 and D2 (Check diodes orientation with markings on PCB).
- Two headers H1 and H2
- Mosfet Q1 (Q1)
- Capacitor C1 (C1)
- Resettable fuse F2
- Solder fuse holder F1
- Last relay K1
- Solder wire jumper on place of power selector.
- Terminal connector X1, X2
- And now the capacitors C6 and C2 (pay attention to polarity)
Add good amount of solder to traces shown in red. For more Amps to flow through.
Now put a fuse into the fuse holder. Before you put the jumper on the power selector, do the next step of the wiki first.
