The menu items are now listed in the secondary menu, below the show more options, can they be displayed directly in the new context menu?

I have plans for that, but not in the near future because I prefer working on mpv.net and because it will be much work because in C++ I cannot work very fast.

Meanwhile, you can take a look at:

I think the new menu has generally worse usability compared to the old menu, for various reasons. The old menu is generally better in my opinion and because of that I stay with the old menu unless MS removes the possibility of using the old menu. Not everything that is new is automatically better.

What ruins it:

  1. Transparency
  2. The small copy/paste buttons, there is nothing wrong with the old copy/paste menu items.
  3. It changes shape after startup, slow performance.
  4. ContextMenuForWindows11 lacks useful features compared to Open with++.
