I'm very intrigued by Novel's AI-powered web editor and want to explore using it in my Sanity.io based project. As someone still leveling up their frontend skills, I'd love some advice on the best way to integrate Novel's capabilities into my stack.
Specifically, I'm using Sanity's portable text for my content model and their studio ContentEditor for editing. A few questions on how I could potentially connect the dots between Novel and my Sanity setup:
Could Novel's API be used to generate Portable Text content on demand to populate documents in Sanity? Or would importing pre-generated content from Novel be better?
Is there a way to build a custom Sanity plugin to invoke Novel's AI to assist the ContentEditor as a user is editing? Or is this not feasible?
Do I need Blob storage and fine-tuning access if I just want to leverage Novel's existing models for generation? Or is that only required for full training capabilities?
For those who have used Novel's content without fine-tuning, how did you find the quality and relevance of the generated text?
I'd love any insights from the community on the best way to join Novel's futuristic editing powers with Sanity's flexible content platform. My frontend skills are still developing, so I'm open to any and all suggestions! Let me know your thoughts.
