A bug that is inherited from AB3, but regardless, OS-X has already been renamed to MacOS.

Team's Response

As stated on the module website, our application is only required to run on OS-X. We may not guarantee that it will work on macOS (> 2016).

Furthermore, the textbook specified OS-X as shown in the screenshot, hence, there is no need to change to MacOS.

❓ Issue response

Team chose [response.Rejected]

  • I disagree

Reason for disagreement: I have to disagree. Just because something is written inaccurately in the textbook does not mean it should remain as it is, because OS-X has long been renamed to macOS. Given how the DG can be read by anyone, not just students taking this course, using a deprecated term can be confusing to them because they would not have read the course textbook.

Additionally, this issue has been raised by several groups in the past AYs, and they have all been accepted as severity very low documentation bugs (nus-cs2103-AY2021S2/pe-dev-response#1713, nus-cs2103-AY2021S2/pe-dev-response#3152) so I see no reason for this to be rejected.
