Remote view/display status

Hello, I'm currently plotting with 3 machines and I've set a screenshot utility on each machine to screen capture the window every 30 seconds, upload to FTP and then html file on the server so I can track plotting status wherever I am.

Is it possible to have everything just saved as text or even better HTML with meta-refresh or similar so it takes less bandwidth for upload and viewing?

I mean is there any way of remotely viewing the manager except to take screenshots on the machines?
