First off, thanks for creating this integration. Very easy to set up and quite user-friendly to use the sensors.
Just one small issue I have been running in to recently: I have a calendar card on my dashboard to show the next 3 days loadshedding schedule, but every now and then I get the "Could not retrieve events for calendars: Local Loadshedding Events" error. Sometimes it goes away on it's own, other times I just reload the loadshedding integration and it works again. Is this an issue with the calendar card not functioning properly, or is there something in the loadshedding integration that I need to configure?

I have the same problem after updating to Home Assistant 2023.2.5

Hi @jancoetzer and @1n6w3coza, thanks for the feedback 👍

is there something in the loadshedding integration that I need to configure?

If you've configured your area during setup then there should really be nothing else that you need to do.

Quite a strange one though - I launched my dev environment after updating to 2023.2.5 and I saw the "Could not retrieve events for calendars" error on my calendar cards for a few seconds before it disappeared as the initial query to the EskomSePush API returned. Since then I've been unable to replicate it and nothing shows up in my logs.

Do either of you get any errors in your log files?

Thanks, Jean, I appreciate your feedback. I had a look at my logbook, but the only errors I find are "Loadshedding Local Events became unavailable" - with a timestamp. I had a look at the other loadshedding entities, and all of them also says "became unavailable" at the same timestamp, but after a couple of hours the logs shows it just continues with "turned off" and "turned on" etc.

Thank you for the reply @swartjean

I had other problems with my HA instance, so I ended up reinstalling and all is well now.

Had the same last night, but it turned out that I exhausted my API calls. Might be the case here?
