ERROR: unable to load demographics #1464
-
Hi everyone, I am trying to change as little as possible to run a simulation for my country's demographics. So, I followed instructions and changed the demographics file, zipcodes, providers, and timezones files. I thought accuracy does not matter, so I just made sure there is an instance of my city and state in all of the files under providers, zipcodes, and timezones. How my demographics file looks like: (after header) Zipcodes: I just made similar changes to all's first row to have Region1, EG for city, state. When running: I get the following error: FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
Deprecated Gradle features were used in this build, making it incompatible with Gradle 9.0. You can use '--warning-mode all' to show the individual deprecation warnings and determine if they come from your own scripts or plugins. For more on this, please refer to https://docs.gradle.org/8.2.1/userguide/command_line_interface.html#sec:command_line_warnings in the Gradle documentation. BUILD FAILED in 1s I have also made the appropriate changes in the synthea.properties file under main > resources I am not sure what is going wrong? Again, I just want to change the demographics, but I do not care about anything else. Is it an accuracy problem? Do all of the locations have to align? If so, can anyone let me know what is the easiest way to just change demographics? Can I just add arbitrary providers that cover the entire city/state? I hope this makes sense! Thanks a lot in advance! |

Check https://github.com/synthetichealth/synthea-international. I am curious what use is Synthea being used for in Egypt. I was involved in consultations for EMRs in Egypt a while back. |

@nourabdelbaki Not sure what version of Synthea you're using, but I get a slightly different error with your configuration changes when using the latest code on At any rate... You're using "Egypt" as a state, although it is a country, so in some of the output it shows the country as "US". Nevertheless, if you want to make your changes work, you need to change a few more files.
You might also see occasional errors with other files... for example,

Hi @nourabdelbaki did you end up getting this to work? I've followed the instructions on https://github.com/synthetichealth/synthea-international but ran into the same issue. I've then tried changing the insurance files in the same way. That generated provider and organization data, but failed to make any patient info. |
