jk-bms, esp32, ttl value update interval

I have the esp32 connected via cable. Everything is fine and the values are displayed in iobroker. The values are updated every 5s.
Is there are way to decrease the 5s?

You can change the update_interval:

jk_modbus:
  id: modbus0
  uart_id: uart0
  rx_timeout: 50ms
  update_interval: 60s

Then I get the following log:

jk_modbus: [source /config/esphome/esphome-web-383fe4.yaml:52]

• id: modbus0
  uart_id: uart0
  rx_timeout: 50ms

  [update_interval] is an invalid option for [0]. Please check the indentation.
  update_interval: 2s

Another question: Is the "balancing_current" via cable not available?

Oh sorry. My fault. The correct section/component is the jk_bms section not the jk_modbus one.

I've improved the example configuration so it should be clear now: https://github.com/syssi/esphome-jk-bms/blob/main/esp32-example.yaml#L48-L56

The balancing current is available via BLE only.
