ASC 1993 ERD
An entity-relationship diagram (ERD) showing the main concepts in an information model for biological collections.
The ERD uses a common crows-foot (and hatching) notation to show the cardinalities at each end of the relationship. This diagram also uses the subtyping (subclassing) convention to show, for example, that "bulk-sample", "lot", "specimen" are among the kinds of "collection-object."
