The tektoncd/experimental has been created to allow members of the community to experiment on some project together somewhere, benefiting the community's infrastructure.

I am proposing here to discontinue the repository and archive it.

  • It has very very low activity (see the history)
  • It has a brittle CI that is a bit tricky to maintain — and any project can block another project
  • It doesn't bring too much value. Because it's experimental, people are not really trying the projects out, and as said earlier, it has close to no activity
  • With GitHub workflow, … it seems easier for contributors to experiment on their own repository and then propose the project to be adopted (or not).
