Model Card Toolkit is now part of TFX Addons

As announced in August, Google has decided to move Model Card Toolkit to TFX Addons! The Model Card Toolkit library will remain in this repo, but it is now a community-led open source project that depends on community contributions, bug fixes, and documentation. This will give our community the ability to make Model Cards even better, and give them the love that they deserve.

About TFX Addons

TFX Addons is a special interest group (SIG) that accelerates sharing customizations and additions to meet the needs of production ML, expand the vision of, and help drive new directions for TensorFlow Extended (TFX) and the ML community. TensorFlow SIGs are intended to facilitate collaboration on shared work. They do their work in public, and the majority of participation is from the community.

How to get involved with TFX Addons

You can learn more about TFX Addons by reading the SIG Charter, and you can get involved by joining the TFX Addons Google group and Slack workspace.

What's Next?

We're working on improving the experience of contributing to Model Card Toolkit by updating the contributor guide, adding continuous integration workflows, and investigating ways to reduce required dependencies for faster installations and minimal conflicts. We're tracking our progress in the Improve the contributor experience milestone. Please let us know if you have any ideas or feedback about what we could do to help lower the barrier to contributing.
