metric or expressions query in Thanos Query UI gives "Empty Query result" sometimes query during execution

Hi All,

We observing below issue in Thanos Query component while filter

i. when we try to give the metric name or rule expression in Thanos Query UI and click Execute button, out 3 times we try 1 or 2
times we are getting continuously "Empty Query result"

Impact: This is causing the metric value missing or panels showing no data.
Also ,in Grafana dashboards some of the panels shows "No Data" or blank for some panels for each refresh interval.

Could you please let us know what could be going wrong here in Query component?
