about epoch number set and training time

I want to train vit-b segmentation based on this code. But It is too slow to train it. For example, the training time is about 21 hours when I set my epoches to 30. But my model cannot learn well when I set the eopches 30. How many epoches number did you set ? and how many hours did it take in such setting?
