receive() method not work in custom channel

Hi
here is the code of custom channel and it work correctly without receive() method,

it will get putqueuename, and getqueuename from jmeter iso8583 connection advance configuration successfully, and create session then send message correctly but when i add recieve method it won’t!

it should send message and wait for respone, finally show in view result tree in response tab.

What are you experiencing?
My guess is just nothing happens due to your Message jmsMsg = receiver.receive(); without timeout.
The ChannelAdaptor's Receiver thread would block indefinitely when calling your JMSChannel's receive() here.

2. No need, the plugin creates a Mux. Refer documentation.
3. No need, the default is 0, 11, 41. Refer documentation.

If you want me to help debug your issue, you'll have to provide as much information as possible. Otherwise, how am I supposed to analyse what is going on by looking at your screenshots?

@tilln right screenshot show field 0, 11, 41 values in request tab that generated by jmeter iso 8583 plugin.
Left screenshot show dump response for that request with exact value for fields that you mentioned 0, 11, 41.

I leave mux configuration blank as the default behavior is to match those fields by default. But response tab still empty!

FYI: I’m using this version:

I think most of your problems come from your sloppy design of extending BaseChannel and not overriding the connection related methods.
Looking at the jPOS code makes it quite clear what is going on: Your Channel disconnects and reconnects after the default 10 seconds after which the Channel finally receives a response.
