Slow IPFS content resolution

Content resolution is extremely slow across the network, possibly related to ipfs/kubo#6383

Playing from origin works:

Changing the gateway to fetch HLS chunks to anything else other than origin is really slow (infura is already the most reliable gateway I know of):

The network performance seems to have deteriorated significantly since last year. In 2018 although ipns publishing was problematic #3, and ipfs resolution was slow enough #46 that we didn't use it, ipfs currently is much worse compared to last year.
