Switch EBS software install from using anaconda to using miniconda

It is possible that a "mismatching version" failure we are seeing is because we have both numpy and also anaconda's special numpy-base in our environment (also possible that isn't it ...). In any case, the more libraries we have installed, the more libraries there are to conflict with each other, so we really don’t want to install anything that isn’t required by our pipeline--especially given that we need to use a lot of software that is OUTSIDE the anaconda set and therefore not in any way guaranteed to play nice with it.
