This is the classic issue with SpeedTracer not running and simply responding
"Pfffttt, Speed Tracer is not working."

As for the two things listed to double-check:
1. Yes, I am starting Chrome with the flag: --enable-extension-timeline-api

2. Yes, I am running dev channel, my Chrome version is 17.0.963.0 dev-m

I'm seeing the same on 17.0.963.2 dev running on X(Ubuntu) 32-bit.

Strangely it looks like the data is loading - things appear functional besides
the big "Pfffttt, Speed Tracer is not working" message in the middle of the
panel

I've had the isssue with:
17.0.963.(0,2,6) dev-m and still having it with 17.0.963.12 dev-m
But for me it loads the header and the yellow warning and not much else.
Platform : Windows 7
the --enable-extension-timeline-api flag is set
P.S.: shouldn't there be a flag for this in about:flags?

I'm seeing exactly same warning. Any fix?
