Bot Language #5
Comments
Great! Please also see the relevant Wiki page I created as a place for us to work on the bot's "conversation" skills. https://github.com/urbanriskmap/urbanriskmap-meta/wiki/Bencana-Bot Once we've discussed in this conversation we can update the wiki as point of reference. |
First decision what shall we call the bot? "Hello, I am the Banjir Bot" |
|
OK, this is my suggestion taking in account comments above. I think the language could still be tightened somewhat. [bot] > Hi, I'm Bencana Bot, reply with #banjir, #api or #badai to send me reports and get alerts. [user] > #flood [bot] > Hi [user], here is your link to send me a flood report or register for nearby alerts. Hati-hati, I can see there are currently 14 flood reports in Jakarta! [user] > (completes report card) [bot] > Hi [user], thanks for your flood report. I've put it on the map (link to user report). For official info checkout BPBD. |
Hi! We were discussing about the bot language, which is may be the best for the users if we provide Indonesian & English.
We were talking deeper about how the bot will determine the language to be used for the rest of the report, and come up to this idea that the bot will send the first message to request the user to choose the language, like in the screenshot here:
Any comments? :) @talltom @fadmastuti @anexact @nashinmahtani @clgeros
