MasterPasswordPlus Incompatible with Thunderbird 68.2.0 (32-bit)

Please, fix the compatibility issue with the new version of Thunderbird, I even try to install the latest version of XPI file "masterpasswordtimeoutplus@vano_1.30.8.2.xpi" and it gives me the Incompatible with Thunderbird 68.2.0 (32-bit) error.

Sorry, no can do, TB68 removed XUL overlays, it would require pretty much rewrite entire extension and it still won't work as good as now.

"As good as now" is essentially "not working at all" for most of us, since everyone moves forward to TB68 and further beyond. So then it is basically just a rewrite left.

Hi, since there will be no return to XUL overlays for current Thunderbird/Firefox versions, and your plugin is actually indispensable from a security point of view, can't you please start a new compatible version after all? Old Thunderbird and Firefox versions or their forks will be used by less and less people. I'm not a programmer, but somehow it must still be possible to write good addons for the current TB. Thunderbird is one of the last good, free email clients and that mainly because of its addons and yours is as said very important.

I would say this project is dead. There hasn't happened any development here since December 2019. If anyone wants to bring this feature back, it's better to either fork this project or start fresh.
