Hello all,

In my Brave browser the extension does not work either. I detail a little my environment:

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04
  • Installation method: apt and snap
  • Brave version: 1.67.116

I have tried restarting the tab, browser, enabling and disabling the extension and various installations. but it doesn't seem to pick up the audio from the tab/browser.

Thanks,

Have you checked if it works on other Chromium browsers? Edge? Chrome?

It does indeed work in Chrome, I haven't tested it in Edge, but it seems to be a localized bug in Brave.

Weird. They're both Chromium-based, so there shouldn't be too much of a difference. Have you tried disabling the Brave's built-in ad-blocker (shield)?

Something strange seems to be happening with Brave Shields. Turning it off and on seems to have fixed the error. Thanks @WofWca :)

Perhaps Brave thinks that the element injected by Skip Silence is an ad?
Perhaps as a workaround it could be white-listed through Brave filtering settings.
