The openUrl property in the Verida Connect protocol allows the wallet to redirect the user to that URL after the successful connection.

Problem is, it doesn't make sense when the app and the mobile are not on the same device.

  • When the user clicks the deep link ("Open in Verida Wallet") button, we can assume they are on the same device, we should pass the openUrl property
  • When the user scans the QR Code, we can assume it's a different device, we do not pass the openUrl property
