Having varying delay times, deleting over a longer period of time, not using Discord while the script is doing its work can potentially increase the chances of your account staying safe. However, no one can say for sure and there are many factors that play into an account getting banned. Use Undiscord at your own risk.

Coincidentally I am deleting around 20k as of right now. I used 3000,4000 (search,delete) delay, but that went slow so I slowly creeped it up to 3000, 2800. And until now (2000 messages in) nothing happened. Sure it will take me 17 more hours to delete all of them, but it seems fine. Someone did some tests here with +10k: #414 (comment)
But I myself don't feel like risking those 2100ms delete times. So take what the previous comment said and this and decide on your own. I will come back to this comment if something happens.

As far as I remember, I had only reduced the timings after a bit because I wanted it to go faster. My deleting went longer than I thought, like 21 hours or so? Maybe more. I did it pretty much in a short period though, no waiting a few hours in between or something. I had it stop for some reason occasionally though.

So I think for 40k messages you could do it in smaller batches (maybe just two) with different delays? Probably something like a few hours at one speed then change it up a bit? I don't really know how they are detecting it. Not sure if this is helpful.
