Bug description

Hi!

I would like to switch from Evernote to Apple Notes. Thank you for this helpful tool.
Downloading my notes worked flawlessly. However, when I import the enex-files to Apple Notes I only see something like {{NotesAttachment:060e4b8ee82472f916b89aecd30332cc}} instead of a PDF file that was part of the note.

As I have quite a lot of PDFs in my notes this is crucial to me. I would appreciate it enormously if anyone could help me fix this.

Julius

Does this also happen when you import notes exported directly from Evernote app?

Yes! I think it is actually related to a bug in macOS 14.1 Sonoma (see this discussion in the Evernote forum)
There seems to be no solution for now.

While of course highly regrettable, this is not a evernote-backup bug. The attachments have been appropriately exported to .enex. It is an Apple bug who are currently unable to import attachments from enex, however the enex was generated.
