Off isn't highlighted when pressed #1

Thanks for checking out my device handler @henkchan! I've finally had the time to look at this and it seems like the entire tile interface isn't working any more. I'll need to have a look at the logs to see what happened, I'm guessing an update broke it. I enter the mac address in lower case myself. I don't think it is case sensitive in any case. |
Any update on this? Doesn't seem to work for me either, at all after inputting the MAC & Ip address. Is this format correct? xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx for mac and x.x.x.x for IP? |
This is actually no longer a problem with the edge driver. I'll probably come back and close this off with a won't fix as I'm unlikely to maintain the Groovy device handlers going forward. |
I stumbled on this today and have been waiting for it for a long time. Thanks for putting in the effort to writing this! It works but wanted to open an issue where Off doesn't seem to always work.
Initially, pressing off didn't do anything but after a while, it seems to work. I have been able to replicate that pressing the Off button does not highlight it to acknowledge the button was pressed (I understand the status cannot be polled but hope it eventually comes to make the app perfect!).
I'll need to test more with it to see if the fan speed is working as expected but wanted to see if you can resolve this issue to see if it may be a cause for any other issue I may be seeing.
BTW, for the mac address, do you expect it to always be lower case or upper case? I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but when I initially had it all lower cased, the off didn't work but then seemed to work when I switched it to upper case.
Thanks again for this handler!
