I am a new user of the player. I have 3.3.1 64Bit installed.

A couple of times over the past few days the player does not give any output sound. No changes have been done.

The only option I had was to uninstall and reinstall the application and it worked straight.

Is there a better way to address the issue?

I also noticed a Windows Application event in the win Event Log:

Update

I have been trying to uninstall and reinstall without luck this time. Even tried to reboot in between.

Try the portable version in Releases, extract the archive and run the executable.

Windowsversion ?
Sound Card ? (Download SIW (System information Windows) or SIV (System Information Viewer) and check the Hardwareinformation.

works other Sound programs.. ?
Windows have, if the right Sounddrivers into , "DirectSound" out from DirectX
if the Sound works and Drivers installed, should it works in any case ..
Did you check the level of Volume ? (something like Glasses over the Head)
