vscode doesn't support rtl languages so i have to use CMS or write your content in other place then copy the browser by defaults support arabic

in repo CMS, i mean like tina you can edit your files locally and it will reflect the files and write them

Hey @blackPeppper! Thank you for this issue!

So at the moment and for the foreseeable future StudioCMS will only be focussing on storing data within Astro Studio! So we aren't looking at supporting local .md files or Content Collections at this point.

These things have been discussed however, as future projects for StudioCMS and I'm sure one day we'll be looking at something for Content Collections but at this time we won't be adding support for local files I'm afraid!

Yeah, i'm not 100% sure about how we would support Direct-To-File type edits, as this would also break our ability to be "Runtime-agnostic" which is one of our goals... for example if we use node:fs that would not work within runtime for Cloudflare environments and would actually cause the entire thing to not properly deploy. I could see a future where we would be able to create a interface that could interact with Git based systems but even that would be a bit out of our current scope as we currently have 0 support for local content collections

I think for this issue to ever come to StudioCMS we would have to complete multiple different things first, Including but not limited to building an interface for StudioCMS that would allow collecting what content collections even exist in the first place. For this feature i forsee this being very possible with the new Content Collection API Layer, that will allow us to create a Astro Content Collection Collector that would be able to use a Astro API Endpoint to provide the local content collection data to the StudioCMS dashboard and front-end.

Once we have that figured out and working with StudioCMS, we could then start looking at how we could potentially interact with the git ecosystem and create a link similar to how TinaCMS allows you to edit a Git Repo (But I don't see any good way to 100% support local file editing due to the goals of our project being similar to the way Wordpress works where you Deploy your install and work off of live SSR data. And Again this is only because StudioCMS is being designed to be a Deployed to server project not something someone would use locally.)
