"This number is greater than the maximum" error disappears when clicking on it

I was trying to create a transaction with a very high value:

You don't see the error in the first screenshot because it disappears when clicking anywhere. For some reason the address validation error works fine, but the value validation does not. In this state, removing or adding one digit more does show the error again, but the error disappears when trying to copy it or take a screenshot.

The only way I found to make the error stay there is to press "Sign and send". In that case the error stays there as long as the user does not click on any of the fields:

Expected behavior: the error should stay there while the value is invalid.
