Learn how to add a master node to your NKS Cluster

Add a Kubernetes Master Node to an NKS cluster

This NKS documentation covers how to add a master node to an NetApp Kubernetes Service (NKS) cluster.

Note
There are various reasons why you may or may not want to add additional master nodes to your Kubernetes cluster. This particular document will not delve into those reasons. It is strongly recommended that you consider the decision to add/remove master nodes carefully before making changes to your cluster.

From the main Control Plane view, click the Cluster Name to bring up specific cluster details.

NKS cluster details

From that screen click the + ADD MASTER button. Adjust the options as desired.

Use the SUBMIT button to apply the changes. You will be returned to the cluster details screen. Notice that the new master node provisioning is now in progress.
