Describe the bug
Ticker Marquee transition is not shown on the Linux player

To Reproduce
Add a ticker, and set the Effect to 'Marquee Left/Right/Up/Down'. The effect is shown on the preview window but not on the player display.

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • Linux Disto: 20.04.5 LTS
  • How the player was launched: snap
  • Player Version: 1.8-R7
