Hello @GiorgioBart,
I have the same problem, but I have already been able to find the cause:
The two-year-old Linux client can no longer communicate with the current Xibo version 4.
Everything worked for me until a few months ago. Then I updated the Xibo server, and last week I switched on the clients again, but could no longer establish a connection.

You can get version 1.8 R6 via Snap, and 1.8 R7 if you join the beta channel. In the milestones there is a version 1.8 R8 from last year, which was also started before server version 4, but not finished:

I would also be happy if the Linux client would work with the current server version, so that you could stay with OpenSource and not need a Windows license and high-performance hardware.

Dear @SirFiChi , according to your comment, could you work well with Xibo CMS 3.3.12? there is a version available for Docker on the website.
