I'll do my best to explain the behavior I'm seeing.
As we increase mill radius, we see KitKit respect that. However, it no longer matches the original design.
In this case, I think KiKit can still respect the original design by being more "greedy" and removing more of the rail material since this is an outside edge. eg. In practice even a 50mm endmill could match the original design curve (while being very wasteful 😄).
