Hey Roger, I was taking your view concept into consideration and when i went to mock up something new, i went back and looked at what I had in the shapes mockup.
I think that pretty much what I have out there should still work. If you look you already followed the "attributes" screen, you just didn't leave space on the right to allow text descriptions of things.
Gear lacks a picture of the player which gives room for gear stat descriptions.
Inventory will be a lot of icons. it also should really not require a major overhaul.
Regarding all of these, I realize we might need to make the icons slightly bigger, but i did do some hands on testing and the icons if made identical to what i have would still be big enough to touch, but i could see them being scaled up a little bit just to help make sure its easy to touch so you could make something near identical and not be in trouble.
