Category names (Google labels) do not get updated

Hi,
Contacts are being added and updated as expected, and new categories from Google are added. However, categories (labels) that I renamed in Google Contacts do not get renamed in TbSync when I sync. I can manually rename them in my TB address book. Thunderbird 115.6.1 and latest versions of add-ins.

Hi, and apologies for the late reply.

Google-4-TbSync has support for the categories (aka groups), but it's not perfect.

The 2025 version will be a full WebExtension add-on, working on top of TB itself.
But currently there are some issues with categories/groups which can't be fixed, sorry.
