Communicating with openTofu to resolve some issues now. Check this out: Once those issues get resolved, we will switch to openTofu. Created a new branch called dev-0.2.2-opentofu to build and test the openTofu-version of HPC-NOW. Anyone interested in this issue please fork and switch to that branch. In the 0.2.1 evolving versions, we will keep on using Terraform version 1.6.2 (under the BSL terms). |

As we know, Terraform changed its license from Mozilla Public License to BUSL, which is ambiguous and not friendly to public and open-source projects at all.
It is Hashicorp's decision to switch the license, and we can do nothing about it (although I am feeling not good at this decision).
Thanks to the open-source community, we have a perfect alternative: openTofu, which is a fork of the open-source version of Terraform. The openTofu project is backed and developed by a very strong and dedicated community, and it is also managed under the Linux Foundation. I'd recommend everyone to star and support that project.
Therefore, we make the decision to switch from Terraform to openTofu. In our next release (0.2.2), this component will be switched.
Please stay tuned.
