Expected behavior
If a Talk post triggers a notification two different ways (e.g. because I got an
@mention
and was also subscribed to the thread), it should only show up once in my notifications.Current behavior
I often get multiple notifications in a row of the same thread/post. Recently I got four in a row, because there was an
@team
,@admin
, I am subscribed to the board, and... I'm not sure why the fourth one happened. I got multiple emails as well.I'm enjoying the irony of this happening with a post about missing notifications.
Steps to replicate
Subscribe to a thread or board, post a new post
@$self
mentioning. Or perhaps have someone else do it; I haven't checked whether self-tagging induces a notification.Additional information
